It would be cool if there was a set of missions that all members of the same legion had access to, and all missions done by different members stacked together. After completing the vast number of attempts the missions would provide extra effects for the legion, possibly an enhancement to the planetary bonus or a bonus attack (or defense) against NPCs. It would give another reason to be in an alliance other than shares and protection. As an idea adding to it, the missions could be limited to level ranges, so that to earn all the bonuses requires diversity of player levels. |

yeah I really like the idea it would force players to actually participate on a legion level . I don't agree with the level idea though as that would limit or gimp some legions on the lower end of the ranks and give yet another advantage to the old timers . simply the difficulty of the mission itself should be the limiter meaning a legion with 50 level 20 players has a chance to complete a mission that a legion of 5 level 100 players could do it would just take cooperation to get it done . |

The level requirement has max levels so that you would have to have lower level players to complete them. (that means even the Epically Powerful Dysonians would be at a disadvantage in a few regards.) |

Ya if we had to have players ranked 1 - 100 to do the first set of missions we would just be out of luck. Where as then if you guys needed to have rank 300 - 400 members to finish the missions most of your legions would be out of luck. You would need to find a something else. Like say for each mission you would have to specialize in something like scan, attack, cloak, and so on all based on rank. So there for since most players go one way with most of their research and specialize in one or two of those things they would have to do that part where as the others who specialize in other parts most do those missions. |

Ah, missed this one.. Why not just introduce legion levels (based on exp from various things) so can unlock some certain benefits? That way, no legions can be excluded or any certain members would be excluded.. |

Very interesting, legion level, perhapes more members in the legion the more exp it takes to level up? e.g 1 member 1000 exp to level up from 1 to 2 2 member 1500 exp to level up from 1 to 2 etc. |

That would be cool. It would be a great way to promote legions, and special artifacts, and modules could be featured. Perhaps the more members, and strength of your legion would unlock new missions. |

How would modules, research points and artifacts work if a member quits and joins another legion? And what about members that join after the mission is done? |

Well it would be just like missions you need requirments for. For example, a mission needs you to have 200 scan power. You get a sensor that let's you do the mission. You get halfway through, and sell the sensor. Now you can't continue the mission, but if you get the sensor back you can. Same with members. Modules and artifacts you acquired, so they still work. Besides, who says the missions have to be timed. |

hmm persistent missions would be good, and i like the idea of requirements; something like legion total scanning power must be at least 20000 to start it (legion officers start it), and for a member to continue doing it need 1000 scanning (so individual requirements). Although, a legion mission could require all sorts of things like mass item/artifact collection, large NPC bosses designed for 50 people, and other stuff normally out of scope for a single player or even a small group. Lots of possibilities there for Dan to extend gameplay. Also, like normal missions which get unlocked with level, you can unlock this by average legion rank so as legion grows it gets the new missions. I think its a natural evolution of the game from having legions. |

Could make it like a relay race. You have to complete a mission a few times, then pass the baton to another legion member, and so on. Completion at 60% legion participation in say a day/week time and each mission is lvl matched to person performing. This would eliminate most of the complaints I have read about such a mission. |
