I think Crimson Cluster Missle is too powerful. It randomly destroys one attack/defense/population structure on a planet without a chance of failure. If a planet has only two planetary shields - that's a guaranteed reduction of 200 defense - 400 defense with a 100% legion bonus. This all from one artifact. I think that all planet improvements including resource buildings should be included - aswell as a chance of missing all targets. You get 20 missiles total from the mission that gives them and using only containment missiles to gain. What player can defend against many missiles being used against a single planet? So we should have many lesser defense structures instead of afew greater defense structure to defend against this? - when more powerful structures cost a huge amount more? It seems the game has alot more ways to invade a planet then to defend one.

The problem is - with Planet Flux - the battle is just over. You never get a chance to have a good fight for a planet. You just wake up and log on and it's gone - nothing you can do.

The thing is you never know when your planet will be attacked - you could use vortex deflector - but that lasts for only one day. I'd have to spend over 30 a day to defend all my planets. Attacks come without warning and usually end very quickly if the attacker is over rank 200. The only chance players have is their attack/defense bonus that allows an attacker to fail their invasion roll and to have to wait 24 hours to try again.

You only need to deflect your best planets that are at risk (ones you have flux probed, or ones recently attacked)
Of course you won't be able to cover them 100% of the time, but dust off those deflectors, and use your probes.
