I must say that when I got my first couple I loved them. It was usually 2-3 hours of research for free. However, now that I am a little higher level each one is equivalent to about 20 minutes of research and just does not feel worth it any more. I suggest that the rewards should scale based on level or RP/hour. Just like the radiant weapon locker scales based on what you have researched so that high level players do not get autocannons or something else low level.

just like you make more research per hour, you should also be making more artifact points per hour. The data disc is really just a conversion of AP to RP at a 1:1 ratio.

But that would still work. You're going to be producing more arties at a higher level anyways. If the Alien Data disk scaled, then I would be happy spending a few thousand AP's to get a few thousand RP's. I've had quite a few of them lately, and whilst it's nice to have them, they're barely putting a dent in my research anymore.

For once that there is an artifact that benefit more to the lower lvls than the higher ones ... We should let it like it is now ...

I think Dan should create a higher-level artifact to the Alien Data Disc, such as an Alien Databank, that would eith provide scaled RPs or a fixed, higher amount of RPs, like 3500 RP or so.

Good idea, and I'd say keep it a fixed amount, but with a ratio and more rare. And add a third tier version too. For example,

The Advanced Alien Databank costs 3,000 AP and gives 3,500 RP.
The Lost Alien Archives costs 7,000 AP and gives 9,000 RP.
