IMO there should be the ability to reset your points, because some when new to the game will spend one way and later realize they made a mistake. would make the game much more enjoyable instead of having to reset your entire account and all that work gone.

If they did this they would have to do it for the players under lets say rank 50 because if I all of a sudden got to reset all my points I would have nearly no decks on my ship but a LOT of Tactical Officers. I would be all most impossible to take out because of the new ship size to damage done rule. Since I'm at rank 349 that would be a lot of extra rank points not to mention all the rescued prisoners and what ever other extra points I have gotten.

This has been suggested before and declined multiple times because Dan has said there would be no way to recover artifacts that give you RP's or RP gained stats(Rescued Prisoners, Ship Bots, etc.)

As Robert said above, there's no way to recover them because the game does not track how many you have had/spent. Players that use this option would therefore lose ALL status bonuses they have ever had from the game, be it through artifact rewards, or through what they have paid cash for.
