I didn't exactly get the drop on the new alliance update and it seems like that is one of the main parts of how recruiting might be successful since we can't invite people that are already in another alliance. Aside from benefiting myself, I thought that if this were possible, that it might make it more feasible for start-up legions. In an effort to curb spam it might cost some amount of energy per an invite.
