AIIRC (AI Interplanetary Research Coordination): The new AI added to your ships supercomputer allows for coordination between research stations on multiple planets. This allows for a bonus to research as well as increasing your scanning abilities. +2 research and +3 scanning per planet owned. -------------------------- EPS (External Power Shunt): The relay closest to your hull can be tapped into and will be used to increase your shield charge time. One installed relay will also recharge your shield emitters. -------------------------- S-RAP (Sensor-Radar Absorbing Paint): An XTS-9 derived paint has been found to have an energy absorbing property. When placed on the hull of a starship, it will absorb a small amount of energy, essentially increasing hull strength while passively cloaking your ship. +50 hull, +30 to cloaking |
