I'd like an option to send a comm message to a player whose planet I've scanned, to give them a fair chance to make me aware of their continued existence in the game, before I go ahead and add their world to my collection. Had I not truced myself last night to end a silly mutual disable war I got into with a guy who hacked me, I'd have probably taken planet Eyebergalla away from it's active owner without ever knowing that he was in fact active. Of course, in all honesty I'd probably would only use this option for worlds I only want to increase my artifact point limit. If I ever by chance scanned an really valuable planet I'd probably just go for it no matter what. It would just be nice to have the option is all

I'd take the planet just to have one named 'Eyebergalla!'
