Here's a suggestion for an artifact: an automated repair robot. It could be set up like a trap that you set on yourself, effective for say 1 week or until triggered. It's basically a repair robot that sits there waiting for your hull integrity to be lowerd to, say maybe 10% or less of full value. At that point it triggers a one-time repair automatically of your hull. Basically it acts just like you would do yourself if you were online and defending yourself from an attacker who was rapidly taking you down to "disabled". It wouldn't give you much advantage if you were already online participating in the battle, but it would really help reduce the handicap you have during those times you're offline. Please consider! |

Nice idea there.. It basically near-doubles your hull but it requires 1-time trap that can be consumed only during defensive purpose. Fair trade.  After all, attackers always repair hull anytime they wish with repair artifacts and also credits while defender has NO way to repair hull off-line and its tough for them to time-repair it during online cuz attacker will click attack too fast.. Trap will serve defender very nicely help to reduce the effect of defender's disadvantage.. |

Ya but even better have a timer built in that once you engage and enemy you can not repair your ship. You may only repair during a fight if you use artifacts. If you leave the battle to get a repair job done then the enemy you were fighting should get away and go off your radar. Or have a cool down timer put on them not allowing you to attack them for a time. I mean seriously do you really think the ship being blown apart is going to wait for you to return fully repaired. But I do like the repair bot idea and would be a great addition |

But I do like the repair bot idea and would be a great addition Actually it already does this. If you leave the battle screen to repair you ship, the defending ship usually falls off your screen. There's a little loop hole around this though. |
