The single artifact will always be the cheapest artifact-point wise, and never mission/NPC reward artifacts. The crew member is determined randomly, and never if the opponent is too low on crew members of that type (and never if they can't afford to loose any more). This is a good reward considering that critical-failure is crew death! I'd love to raid and loot a HyperTerraformer or Dyson Terraformer. As I said, "...and never mission/NPC reward artifacts."

Please can we make exceptions for the terraforming artifacts? Pretty please? I want to be able to potentially have more Very Massive Exotics and Dysons. If the player is dumb enough to leave valuables lying around, they deserve to lose them.

You can take terraformers (but not Hyper Terraformers) and quasi-spacial expenders (but not Mass Serface Melters). But, raiding in my idea will always get the lowest value first, so repeated raids will be needed for that kind of artifacts.

I think you should be able to raid planets to get a portion of the AP or minerals they produce. You should also be able to hack planets to get RP. That would give me something to do with all the enemy planets in scan list.

Perhaps another solution is needed yes, it would pick up... but you still have to have a strong ship to disable the target prior to the raid so the rewards SHOULD be greater. changing minerals to AP would be a very nice change!

Speak of the devil. I just got my first ever Mass Surface Melter from artifact shipment 15 minutes ago. Ate up almost my whole bar of AP's.

+1 to raiding revamp
now that raiding is a joke now (not losing artifacts), disabled ships don't want to heal, and use it as a tool to unexpectedly hit the opponent. There's less reason to heal than the past when they used to lose artifacts, which hinders active PvPs. Although GL goes sideways from common sense to make gameplay experience better, this is way too off and doesn't really help making GL more active. The ultimate goal of a war game is to conquer and destroy, and on an online game that means PvP. We've got to revamp the PvP, by giving players more reasons to heal.
There should be more/new penalties to give penalty to those ships that are knocked out, such as multiplying raided mineral/artifact points by 5x, or 50% to lose 1~3 artifacts without critical (not the whole stack)

i love raiding im only 200 raids from the leaderboard so im open to new things to make raiding even better, not a fan of hacking tho i get hacked all the time so it gets annoying.
