Another new idea:

Jobs! Some players are more active than others . reward their activity! If we crush 1000 npcs in a few hours we should get coordinates to a special elite that drops cool stuff. Or if we kill 50 players in pvp we should get bonus badges or temp att boost. Complete so many missions for an experience boost (or null). Nothing big or op, just something we can only collect once every day or every few days

Ok first thanks dan for the prismatic planet its awesome. Right now x113 is x3 x22 x14 and is massive. . :)
Anyway its a badass planet and my teammates want to see it but unfortunately its unshareable.
If you decide to make prismatics shareable but still unguardable that would be excellent.
Also heres a thought: the first 3 teammates that click it get a negligible buff in production ! Or something similar .

Upgrade to claiming daily reward:

It would be cool if when you claim a daily reward, along with your rank point reward or 4 hours of research, your ship also has an effect added to it until the next rewrd is claimed. Perhaps a buff or debuff to a stat or production, a greater chance of rare npcs , or a de(or in-)creased exp gain or energy cost . perhaps several planets get blockaded at once. Nothing op just a little spice

Planet tab :


Enable the ability to filter the planets by typing keywords of effects on the planets, or even open abilities like casinos and tej-brask mining buffs

Planet stuff :

It would be cool if there was a tab on each planet that shows its history. Date of colonization or invasion with previous owner(s). Any temp effects and how many times its had it. Also its original stats before uplifting. Any odd errata could be listed here

Upgrade filter to include players' names as owners, temp/perm effects , oldest to newest scanned.
Also button to filter planet types instead of having to type each one

High rank stuff:

As players rank above 1000 and beyond they should be able to alert more planets or players . i suggest allowing the timer to shorten by 2 hours for every thousand ranks with a cap of one every 4 hours

More high rank stuff:

A means to remove or reduce owned planets from the scanned planet total when scanning for planets.

The ability to blockade a planet , maybe stealing some loot or cause harm thru subterfuge

A repeatable mission that takes random common arts and gives you something new

Legion stuff :

When looking at a legion's description, show their current leaderboard ranking under the flag

Allow a 1% boost to production for one of up to five legionmates guarding a planet . higher level legions could allow a higher cap

Allow access to a legion storage . new legion stat cargo. Base gets 2 per level and can expand 2 more with gp. Cargo mods can hold 10k items or 2 base structures that have been unequipped. Open or restricted access, can be set to be free or have a cred cost , with creds going to the base bank with a tax taken out. Cargo modules could have seasonal upgrades (chuhn?) allowing for better use of space

+1 for the unextractable part. The "instantly extract all extractable structures part" seems like it would almost never be useful (since I doubt there are many planets out there with more than 20 extractable structures).

Monthly event :

Buff Up Day ! If the players reach the target attack power each participant gets 5gp !
Once a month event
There's a server wide time where everyone has to buff their attack power as high as they can . the target number could be ridiculously high but im not sure what the exact number should be. When the selected moment arrives every that opted to participate gets the reward. Might have to complete mission to register

Nope. Get reds or don't scan.
No "No xp return" easy base scans without earning them.

Using a klorvis conduit has increased chances of spawning a space entity with increased stats, perhaps shareable to the legion , that blockaeds the planet instead. drops klorvis gear or upgrade for klorvis structures. You guys fight over what the npc should be lol

New daily task :


Journey into uncharted space !
Player must complete , per day , to access :
One daily mission
One disable, raid, hack
One planet scan
Alert an elite npc

Once these criteria are met the player may click the " journey into uncharted space" button

Has various possible effects such as :
Discover new planet
Discover strange elite npc
Temp buff to random stat
Encounter with trader npc
Discover cache of hidden goods. May contain resource production points similar to dark cache
Enrage npc faction... Npc faction blockades one of your planets
Befriend npc faction ... Npc faction guards one of your planets, boosting att def cloak and production 10%
Discover npc faction owned planet. May have special structures

seasonal event idea :


how about special ctlab recipes that can only be discovered during seasonal events ?
they can be as simple as upgrades for the seasonal structures and modules or a totally new thing

When sending arts or min to another player, a window opens with 3 tabs: legion , friends, trade pact. My suggestion is to add a fourth: trainees.
