Post Alerting on NPC
I just had a Vorghul Crimson Anhilator show up on my battle menu. It wouldn't let me alert for 11hours 34 minutes so I took it out by myself. I feel bad about not sharing it but I won't be awake at 2am and by the time I got to play tomorrow it would have expired (disappeared).

I think for NPC alerts and things like that there should be no time limits for alerting our legions.

I also agree. It makes sense to limit PvP shares, but for PvE sharing does not fall victim to the same problems.
