I had one of the artifacts to warp a colony ahead 1 day growth (Forgot name, scrapped it...to afford a colony) in my cargo for a while, and it got me thinking. Either a new artifact, or a mission to "Convert" these existing ones to an artifact that swaps the planet for an alternate one from another reality/time to generate a colony their. Probably best to bar it from invasions though, they are supposed to be really expensive.
