Suggestion: New experiments

Combine artifacts to come up with a new theory buy spending a certain amount of RP in the process.

(ie)

100,000 RP and 100x + 100y + 100z = New Design

Your legion would be the first to make new discoveries that other legions haven't, and vice versa.
A medal could be implemented in the process.
There would also be a failure chance, of course, and, you would not retrieve the arts back you supplied.
Failure could be a variety of circumstances to, damage to your ship/modules/or even the loss of a number of scientists.


RNG would be active as to what was produced.
Building said design would be the same as what was used to discover save for RP.

500 Energy and 100x + 100y + 100z = New Design

Base energy and xyz, is just that, as more could be applied to discover different possibilities to be made.
This is also an opportunity to make common and uncommon artifacts useful instead of just purging them for credits.
