Remove the silly limits restrictions. If Joe Blow wants to sell 50000 cloning pods...why not let him?

because it keeps the market accessable for mid to low ranks, if the highest ranks only sell their stuff in huge batches that are unafordable for mid to low ranks they can't buy any of it, nor do they need that much


it's probably also as motivation to make people get more then 2 trading slots to trade more at once

I can't prove it, but I'd wager that mid to low ranks are the majority of buyers on the GTC. Therefore, if a higher rank constantly put large numbers of stuff out for large amounts of credits, then 90% of the time their items are going to go unsold. Eventually they'll price things at a rate that the low ranks can afford. Keep the 1000 limit on EM and CTP so that everyone has a shot at winning as opposed to some high rank just snagging a 10000 CTP auction with 5 trillion credits. Artifacts however...there's really no need for a limit.
