So with Easter fast approaching, discussion in EoTS has begun tentatively discussing what we might see for the Easter NPC's. Now the Easter event is generally thought of as something of a non-event, in so much as it doesn't really have much going for it, by way of NPC's. A 1/5000 Elite & Pay2Play NPC's.

A thought that came to mind, was that we might get a 2.0 Upgrade. On this occasion for the Lepus Detector/Revealer.

MeeryMinion brought up the premise of perhaps a 3rd drop too, which would be great.

It was that premise which actually got me to thinking, that we really only get, as stated earlier, 1 Elite & Pay2Play NPC's.

It would be nice to see a new NPC introduced for the Easter event, which would drop the 1st Generation Lepus Drone;



It's old enough that these days, it can hardly be considered overpowered to have access to via regular means during an event & It would lead to a good deal of activity for all legions during an event, which as i stated, seems to lack that punch.

Plus, the NPC design has already been paid for, it's on the servers, so it's really just a case of a few tweaks to introduce it as an event NPC during the 2 weeks we'll have.

Thoughts?

P.S. If Dan is reading this, if ya do have anything new planned for Easter... Any chance of a sneak peak in the upcoming section?

Also, If nothing new is planned, can we be told that too, just because no point gearing up in excitement for something that's not gonna come.

Not sure if they would want it to be a NPC drop, and mission based to complete,
or just mission based with a % chance to find.
Either way, the would be an artifact reward.

These are great ideas for next years event Darious, since none of what you're suggesting has been thought of before, however that also means it's not ready to go, let alone coded.

What i'm hoping to get here, is something for this years event.

It just seems silly that during a seasonal event, there aren't any regular common/uncommon NPC's to find, when for every other seasonal there are NPC's of differing rarity to locate.

Well Easter is 4/20 this year and that's plenty of time to ...

I like the idea of an egg hunt could also have a medal that says kill x number of silthion queens, 10 -15 medal points and gives you a golden egg as a reward or something like that

You have more faith than I do.

We had no new npc's for valentines, and that's an actual npc holiday event. Easter has always been overlooked for npc events and last year was the first time we had an actual npc to hunt.

I really hope there is some sort of common/uncommon npc to hunt, but I'm not going to hold my breath, because as I already stated we didn't get anything new for an actual recognized npc event.

no new NPC's for valentine but we did get an upgrade for the Q-Pedd Assembly Line

bane event event gave us Ghastius, Bane Fiend + upgrade for the Apparitious, Bane Familiar

The Scruuge event gave us the Scruuge Vicar + Hub-GMU3, Scruuge Base + Thraccti, Scruuge Defector

not mutch for Havest event, but we did get a nice upgrade on the Captured T.O. Harvester drop, that made them quite worth hunting for


the Lepsus is the worst event so far, no real high rank content
and the drops..... Lepus Revealer ( size 25, attack 50, scan 60) isnt realy worth it

so I do hope we qet, quite a few new NPC's and missions added to the Lepsus event this year
but with the last q-peed event, I dont realy expect it

me im saying that we would need an uncomon or rare npc to hunt and a prety good 2space 3 product on evrything but like rare very rare extremely rare or a 1 space 2 arti and 1 charge of 2% production for 3 days shoudl be lot uncomon or 1space 2 arti 300 def 400pop

Bumping this because here we are, 2 years later and to be perfectly blunt, this event still desperately needs an uncommon or rare npc(non-shareable) to get people to find this seasonal more enjoyable and drive activity.

I agree an uncommon would be good. The elites are fun and probably the most interesting of all seasonal elites to take down but a single player npc would realy be good for driving activity in npcing on this seasonal.
