Instead of having to manually change your mods every time u need to change ur stats, can Dan implement a ship preset system, where u can save the data of all your current mods.

So like I can save a preset of my default build, a preset of my ion cannons and relays offline, and a preset of all my scanners online at the expense of my weapons, and instead of having to click through a hundred times to switch, I just go to ship, load preset -> default, energy, scan, and it will automatically install and uninstall the mods I save into that preset?

Back to the database thing.. right now Dan can keep a single table for all mods you have... and the install column can be set to Y if you have installed, and N if you dont.. if your suggestion is implemented that means a superincrease in the number of database tables, thus increase in data size, thus more cost for dan to store those...

Also, more database tables might cause more lag due to more stuff indexed

if you prefer not to shuffle mods, you can always add decks.

SSBs are currently forced to mod shuffle until they surpass around 2500 decks, so allowing pre-set module builds would take away one of the few advantages that LSBs have over SSBs continuously up thru the upper ranks of the game.

To the contrary, at a certain point, all ships will have to micromanage their mods, regardless of their size. No one can simply install all their mods. This is when SSBs have the advantage over LSBs because they have less to keep track of.

Besides, making the game balanced by making the UI #&$# is backwards thinking... You always want the user interface as slick as possible.

Sorry Bla1, that is just incorrect. There are many ships I see that have more than enough decks for all modules in the game, even the crappy ones that shouldn't be on any ship above Rank 200. Evidence for this is hitting people for over 5000 damage... there are not 10000 decks worth of worthwhile modules.

Secondly, having an SSB or MSB in the later parts of the game does not mean you necessarily have less stuff to keep track of, it just means more swapping. For example, having 2600 decks doesn't mean I don't have all the modules, it just means they are not installed.

While I don't think presets are a good idea, I would love the UI to be improved to cut down on silly things that would not be on a real UI. For example, I would love for modules of the same type to be grouped with checkboxes/radio buttons or similar rather than listed one by one, for the page to stay in the same place when you click something... lots of stuff that I doubt will happen but would be stoked if it did.

What diego said...

you want ease and not having to click jhere and there, go big.

you want smaller cap and little more time and effort to do a versus b,, take that time and do it

At 7800+ decks i have everything ive acquired equipped. After 5 years thats alot of crap lol i do not have everything in the game but im gettin close

To say one cannot equip everything is laughable. My upkeep of 49b is easily paid and can make another 250b a day

Just add decks dude
