This was another hard one to write. Let me know what you think! Especially the new concepts I've written. You'll know them when you read them. Thanks!

Legion Mission Part Two Missions

Illegal Excavation If you succeed… Secrets Revealed

The Terran Outsiders are retreating, Captain. Good work.
About time. Their commander seemed unrelenting.

Let’s find out what they were digging up.
Teams have begun descending into the crevice.

I take it we’re just waiting then?
That’d be the idea…wait…something is wrong.

What is it?
Our technology stolen from the Terran Outsiders is malfunctioning!

Is it a hack or a standard error?
I think the system is being hacked.

Then we should assume the Terran Outsiders has hackers working against us. Search nearby space for anything. Build a firewall and see if we can block the hack.
Will do. What of the crevice?

Initial reports are coming in now. It appears to be dormant Litheor technology. Finish the excavation and reverse engineer the technology.
We have some Litheor among us. I’ll see if they can help.

***Note: While this mission is active, all modules and planet structures stolen from the Terran Outsiders has no effect on your ship until Task 3 is open.

Task 1: Tracking the T.O. Hackers
There is more than one way to stop a hack. Assign ships to track down the hackers. Capture if you can, kill if you must. 30 Hackers should suffice.

T.O. Omnihacker (Rank 400)
Experts in hacking, the Terran Outsiders have assigned these ships to shut down your excavation. Disabling their shields should let you get close enough to board the ships and capture the hackers. Like other T.O. ships, the Omnihackers rely heavily on shields and defense.
Hull: 25,000
Shields: 100,000
Attack: 10,000
Defense: 30,000
Cloak: 10,000

Costs 250 energy to board the ships and capture the hackers.

Task Reward: T.O. Defense Grid
Size: 25, Defense: 250; Cloak: 300; Scan: 100. (Upgrades to 200% at 40% intervals) When fully upgraded, ship receives 5% hacking bonus.
Upkeep: 200M

Task 2: Inspect T.O. Technology
Two missions:
First, develop an internal firewall. 20 hits of 500 energy, 5 quantum flare traps, and 10 dark pryamids.
Second, scan your planets with T.O. technology, check to make sure they weren’t hacked. Scan 30 of your planets with a T.O. Hacker Probe. Costs 300 energy to use.

***Note: must complete both missions to complete the task

Task Reward: T.O. Firewall Grid Station
Size: 1; Artifact: 1; Cloak: 200; Cloak: 10%
If built on a planet with 2 or more T.O. structures, bonuses are doubled.

Task 3: Finish the Excavation (FAILURE THREAT)
Shut down 30 hackers and set up 20 stations before beginning this task. Bring up the artifacts for study and development.

30 hits of 500 energy, 20 nanite swarm capsules, and 10 tesseract containers.

Task Reward: 3 Relic Badges

Task 4: Finish the Excavation (FAILURE THREAT) (Optional)
Once 10 artifacts have been excavated, consult with the Litheors as to the technology you brought up. See if they know anything.

***Note: must be Litheor to do this task AND have the Litheoria

30 hits of 750 energy, 5,000 research points, 20 tachyon cylinders, 20 neural interfaces, 20 cloning pods

Task Reward: Ancient Litheor Tech Parts
Upgrades the Litheoria by 40% for a max of 200%. When upgraded, the Litheoria syncs with the Litheor Tetractic Crystals to increase their stats by 50%.

If the mission is successful, all participants are awarded 5 relic badges.

Pretty Inventive, the story and plot alone earns a +1. I would love to see more missions exploring or reopening older ones.

Another scan mod. Many will moan about this :D

I like the first part, but don't understand why 2nd task must consist 2 part mission, and both have ridiculous e and other requirements that they can each be split as single task each. The reward is not 'that' great - well, the potential 20% cloak is OP, but I don't like the numbers on requirements and reward, overall.

The optional task seems an overkill, since task 1 already grants a scan mod. I like the Litheor idea, so I guess I'd say to drop the 1st scan mod and stick on this one :)

Well, everyone complains that parts of this game are too easy so I'm putting forth more required effort.

The Litheor need some love and attention :)

I know it's another scan mod but nowadays, you get a planet's cloak up to 22k or more and then defense and attack are irrelevant. But I made the cloak planet structure to balance the scheme of things
