I am not sure why these facebook games don't allow at least (1) character reset? And without having to pay for it. I would even go with starting completely over, now that I have had a chance to see the mechanics at work.

considering all the work that must go into researching a WAY to accomplish a reset with the existing data, i really doubt it will be free.

Maybe I'm exposing my ignorance here, but I really don't understand why this would be difficult to accomplish. Just delete an account, and then the person can make a new one. Why would that take extensive research/coding?

It should already be possible to have a reset. Zynga games a year ago had the choice of free multi-accounting as long as the off-accounts are frozen. (that means no energy, combat, or health regen, no income, and no one can fight you. In other words, it is as if the off-accounts did not exist.)

I haven't looked, but I think they don't do that now.
