its my first time, so be gentle guys.... :) get your minds outta the gutter
any ways....
Species-The Raptors
A warlike species who are often hired as assasins, they use war as if though it is a religion, though barely seen behind their hoods, their faces and bodies are scarred representing their every kill.

They are tall, usually well over 7 foot, have been seen over 9 foot, broad shouldered they have grey skin with small horns protruding out of their face, possibly an ancient ancestor of the Konqul, they have glowing red eyes, which is usually the only thing seen underneath their hoods, which are always raised.

Mission #1 (your species) proposal
Greetings captain, its been a while, we dont have much time, so i will be quick, there have been a growing number of assasinations lately in (your species) and (random species) high council, we think this might be an effort to disrupt negotiations please look into this.

During your protection of the Councilor you recieve a garbled message, "councilor....killed...i....failed.....comm jammed....no help....too strong...they are coming" you race to learn as much as you can about the death of the coucilor and your friend

#4 Arm yourself with Knowledge
During your investigations, you discover an ancient group of assasins called "the Raptors" further studies show they are an ancient ancestor of Konquls....you also discover possible battle tactics.....this could be useful, you should study these more.

#5 Death at a funeral
The funeral of the official is today, you choose to remain in orbit, stopping all ships that wish to land, searching them, during an inspection however, your comm begins to go crazy, you had beggged the other official not to go, but now it looks as if though his stubborness has cost him his life, the Raptors were already on the planet, suddenly s ship flys past you, you recognize it from Raptor Archives, you give chase.

#6 Th other two Raptors, didnt even know they were there
After what seems to be hours of chasing, the ship suddenly turns on you, a guttural voice fills your ship "foolish (your race) you dont realize it do you? you dont realize yet that you were our target this entire time?" your scanners go crazy, your top helmsman shouts "two more on the left and right sir!" you smile, just as you expected.

Get here NOW!" you now realize their plan....you race to the senate as quickly as your engines allow, Raptor scouts try to stop you on the way, rip through them.

we found some of the Senators on the fang and Claw...apparently the Raptors have already sent video streams back to the homeworld....they should be tried for what they have done...they want to discuss peace...but only discuss it with you...this is up to you...please do not conmsider this...

thanks krog, you know ive played this game for so long i didnt think it would be that hard to actually do a mission chain, but dear lord it took forever, i had the intitial idea i just could not for the life of me figure out how to finish it. there are 2 missions in ther that i made up really on the fly while typing this up, but they are transition missions and are needed so the story makes sense, props to dan and developers who do this sort of thing for a living

Here is my professional mission chain review. I'm a bit nit-picky but I'll try to be as objective as possible.

Story:
*good story introduction
*good flow from one mission to the next
*nice wrap up to the progression

Race:
*a well thought out appearance
*need a more scifi name (especially being similar to konqul)
*race and assassin bonuses are too high

Missions and Rewards:
*when laying out details in energy cost, experience, number of turns, etc it is easier to leave it up to Dan to decide. (and you won't have to worry about it)
*however completions should be clearly marked to show how many times the player will get the reward.
*Assassination Target Codes sounds more like a single-use artifact, but makes perfect sense for the bonuses.
*try not to put a variable in the title of a mission (the player's race name), it will require more programing.
*the High Council Protection mission rewards too much political favor for the energy cost
*buildings should not grant anything that is not production or planetary bonuses.
*many Buildings and modules do not mention a size
*the raptor Screecher doesn't mention the duration
*the raptor ambush cannons are perfect.
*the Raptor Shatterer and Raptor Warp Drive are over powered (at 10:1 ratio)

thanks zophah, i was really hoping you would say something, another thing i noticed is i didnt put any prices on anything, should i have done that or just left it up to dan? and i figured that both the assasin and species were too high, i had thought about doing a 35%attack and 5% defense bonus for the species, which would equal the 40% cloak the zolazin get, but i figured that cloak and att+Def would be debated. I had a really hard time trying to figutre out a name...and originally the shatterer and warp drives were a 5:1 ratio, but thought they would be too small for the bigger ships to want to put on, initially i had intended this to be a lvl 200+ mission chain even though i am far from that.

i discussed that with my legion last night, and we were discussing me making another species of raider, who are stealing pieces of weaponary to make a super weapon, and the point of the mission chain is to collect these parts and have to destroy the weapon in the end and make this weapon for yourself, we were trying to figure out names for enemy ships and for the weapon, and i think we decided on naming them after martial arts.
