I know that most missions that have an artifact or an object as a reward upon completions get a topic the second someone gets to the mission or the moment is posted. Normally one of the first questions asked is what does the object do, or what are the specs. If the specs where listed at the same time as when you scroll over the icon to show you the picture it would reduce alot of excess posting. I dont know if this has been suggested before but it seems like a good idea. Also I realize that some things should not be released bc it would be a total spoiler alert, such as what results of a blueprint are.
