Ya Dan, make it a massive planet invasion…. The encounter is just one battle that can reward 25-30 players with multiple waves. 1st you have to breach the outer defenses of the planet maybe an outpost and drones in the sector. Then the planet defenses have to be taken out, have a massive shield up that requires bombardment to break threw. And finally a ground assault with waves of ships that randomly attack as a special attack.


So call it the lost Planet of Orion or The Lost Weapon Forge of Aries (god of war).
1st you have to kill the outpost in the sector it has say 25k hull and shields….
2nd Then the planet has lets say 50-100k and let it regain shields over time like we do until the shield battery on the planet is blown up or overloaded lets say from all the bombardment. You could even let the shield just keep recharging and only way to dmg bunker is when shield is down, this will make it a more team effort to keep sheil down long enough to kill bunker.
3rd finally a bunker on the planet that is so well fortified in the planet that it has 200k on it and must be breached to get the ancient artifacts that are being produced for some old race long forgotten.

The Weapons or factory inside is still producing artifacts by robots and that is why they are still around but little is know about who built these facilities.

Have it last say 3 or 4 days it will keep people busy and at the same time reward many more people in the legion instead of the 3 man bosses now that are dead in 5 min.

So enemy screen will read The Lost Weapon Forge of Aries
Outpost 25k sheilds
25k dmg
Planet shields 100k fully charged
Bunker 200k dmg

Reward 25-30 players if not 50 and don’t care what it gives just something nice you can make that up on your own just making an idea on an encounter that would be fun.

Lol, the Doo was not what I was referring too lol...... I was talking about the Orion star system..... Orion the hunter and his 2 dogs lol. Not the DOO lol.

so in other words this would be a mixture between a Series of Missions, Planetary Attacks, and NPC-Boss combat? I like it.

+1 to the idea. Something more interested and tier-ed NPC encounters rather than straightforwarding attack clicking non-stop..

Throw in hack and raid for us to use against NPCs to disable something for big debuff or something like that.. That'll create hack and raid specialists within legions..
