Post Planet Weaken Link
Unless it is the goal of GL developers to assist players in wasting energy, I recommend the addition of a Planet Weaken Link in addition to the Planet Attack Link. The Attack Link can then be disabled while the 24 hour timer counts down as well as when the player has colonized his or her limit of planets!

In other words you want to turn off the attack button on planets if the attacker is incapable of invading it?
