 Shield auto restorer and Hull repair

I was thinking about how sometimes you getting hit by someone and your not on to defend yourself. What if we could "preload" shield restorers or hull repairs onto our ship.

What I'm thinking is a ship module that has to be researched and take up decks; but can store a repair artifact and it will auto activate when the relevant stat drops low enough. It can have a cool down on it, or a limit on the number of slots you could load.

Not sure how viable it might be but i think it would be a resaonable way to allow offline players a chance to save themselves.

perhaps traps that grant the defender bonuses instead of penalizing the attacker? for example:
Pulse Restoration Trap- recharges 100 shield to the defender
Combat Alert Trap- grants +10% attack to the defender for 15 minutes
Pasifism Bomb Trap- defender gains +1 truce for 1 hour

And for hacks:
Data Lockdown Trap- grants +20% protection to the defender from hacks for 1 hour
