So someone shared a Dark Ring with me. I notice that it only appears on my Ship's Log. Once it falls off there, how will I be able to find this ship?

Could shared ships (maybe only ones you've actively attacked), be added to your battle page? Having it there would make them easier to find once you've engaged.

Additionally, I'm not sure if this is true but it appears I can't share it. I sort of understand this but it appears that after 8 hours, I am the only one who has shown up to help. I wonder if it would be possible to add something so anyone can call for help after a certain amount of time? IE in the last 16 (maybe 12?) hours, anyone should be able to cal for help.

The problem with adding them to your battle page would be that people with gigantic legions would have like 10 of them up at once and that would be a pain to handle. Though I do think it would be nice if you could "mark" one or two and the marked NPCs would show up.

That's a fair way to split the difference. Myself, I don't want to see these battles NOT won, especially if I've invested a lot.

Some people just don't have enough right leveled legion members to help. I think inviting one or two specific people would be ok. I guess the problem is them inviting other people.

What about having random adds/distress calls?

So for instance, say the NPC has been up for a long time, and no one has either responded or their attacks have done next to no damage. A button would appear to send out a distress call that could be picked up by anyone. The game would then randomly pick say...10 players who are NOT in your legion and allow them to fight the NPC. This would give players with small or low-level legions a chance to get help. And the community benefits from having more battles and rewards.

Heh. Better yet (more cruel).. NPC sees that many of your legions within rank range refuse to help cuz they are too afraid. That will make them look "weak" to NPC so NPC starts the fight and randomly kill and destroy of your legion members just like PCs would do as part of 2-way battle. ;) That might wake up some of your passive legion players to fight back to stop NPC from going on killing rampage. :) That would breath some life into NPC AI system.

I guess attacking them could be considered marking them.
