The only time I've seen someone go over the cargo limit is when you get a tier reward artifact or special artifact added to your cargo when your cargo is full or when you change races and lose a cargo bonus of some kind.

I won't go as far as to call you a flat out liar nor will I deny that this could be a glitch but I tend to steer clear of the improbable.

i had the same problem not long back, i purchased 100 aido rather then 100 kur and went far over my limit at the time.
The problem is genuine. not fake.

Yeah, I think it is true based on something I've observed. Get a mineral shipment and sell all your minerals. If you look at the cargo space, it won't necessarily be a whole number (which it should be, with no minerals). This is because when you sell the minerals and it displays your cargo space left it counts Aidonium the same as other minerals, instead of taking 5 space each. In fact, I was just about to try it, here's what happened:

I accepted a mineral shipment, the tab said my cargo was full. I sold two Kurenite, and attempted to buy two Aidonium. It wouldn't let me because I didn't have the cargo space. At first, this seemed correct, but when I looked I realized that now it said I was using more cargo space than I had.

I think it's just a problem that it counts Aidonium as taking the same space as other minerals when it loads after a shipment or sale.
