Hey, so I always thought that chance of invasion was a straightforward mathematical formula. Something like (ships total attack/3) x 0.6 / planet total attack&defense.... or some such (don't quote me on the formula). I failed on an invasion recently, however, on a planet that had 0 attack and 0 defense. I outranked the defending player by almost 70 levels and had close to 1500 attack on my ship. I was told I had a 90% chance of invasion after the failure. How is that possible?? The math should have made it a guarantee. Is there just always a possibility of failure? |

yeah. and theres always a chance you can critical fail with a 90% chance. its just one of those things. i lost a crew member on a 90% chance against a 0 defense 0 attack planet, when i had over 4500 attack. i was rather disappointed. |

Yes, 90% is the highest possible chance. The equation is correct, but if your chance is over 90% then it's set to 90%. |

(Ship Attack/3)/0.6 x Planet attack + planet def = 90% chance invasion, there is no 100%. (i don't know if this is a good thing or not) |

sure it's a good thing... it gives the poor folks a 10% chance of keeping their planets when the high lvl folks try to take... .....of course, two high lvl invaders reduces that to an effective 1% chance |
