not sure if its just me experiencing this, but when i click "Receive Mineral shipment" my Artifact overlay/Specials overlay, briefly pop up behind the minerals overlay on the screen, the same happens when i click the "sell" button as well.
happened in the battle tab as well, when i click "attack" a dialog box briefly shows the effects overlay and attack log when i have the status tab overlay selected on screen.
Also on the Ship Tab as well when i Clicked repair, the screen moved down briefly then returned to normal.
not sure if the other tabs are affected as the research, Missions, News, Planets and Legions tab don't show any irregularities that involve the same behavior as mention above. These aren't in anyway a set back, they're just a mild inconvenience that i noticed this morning.
anyone else getting anything like this?

Happens to me when i click, recieve mineral/artifact shipment.
also happens when installing and uninstalling modules on my ship. This is most annoying cos im scared i might accidentally click sell reactor of something.

it might have something to do with FF. i've switched to Chrome and it doesn't happen any more, there is no overlapping tabs now on the places where i mentioned.

ok i managed to get a screen shot of what happens when i collect my mineral production I am very sure this isn't a Java problem as my Java is up to date and my browser hasn't had any conflicting updates recently. My Cache is always cleared. im still unsure of what this problem is...

Usually this indicates that your browser didn't fully download one of the important files for the game. You can usually correct this by clearing your browser data and reloading: http://www.facebook.com/help/?page=742

Dan, will this be fixed in an update in the near future? The above link didn't work for me either. And I'm not switching browsers, I'm loyal to FF.

what version of FF are you using? I'm on v4.0.1 and haven't seen this issue
i'm planning on upgrading to FF5 soon, but might not if it's happening there...

then it's not the browser.... perhaps it's your video card.... might want to make sure you have the latest driver for your card....

i never had this problem on FF V4.0.1, i upgraded to FF V5.0 and that's when it started, just not right away. it was maybe around a month later it started to happen.
Also, all my drivers are up to date, so that has ruled that out to be the problem.

ok, when was the last time you updated your video driver? (perhaps the latest driver is the problem)
also what kind of computer is it? desktop, laptop, netbook, etc.? also, type of cpu, cpu speed, and how much physical ram? also,..... care to list all the plug-ins and add-ons you have in your FireFox? perhaps one that i don't have is the one that's causing this for you

that's the only 3 items that are listed when you view the extensions and plug-ins list?
if that's the case i'd start suspecting AVG... antivirus software takes a lot of cpu cycles anyway...
i'm not going to suggest you to disable your antivirus for a test though... only the clinically insane such as myself surf the web w/o an antivirus... i run under a limited Windows account so although i know there is still a chance of infection it's a much smaller chance than folks that always use an account with administrator access for everything

I also have AVG Safe Search, so perhaps that's the problem.

it's not FF by itself causing the problem since i don't see it happen on any of my computers and all i use is FF...
it's being caused by something else in conjunction with the way FF renders those pages... to fix the problem we have to locate the something else that's causing it

i've checked all my add-ons and plug ins by disabling them, one by one in the hope that i would find which one is causing it. None of them stopped the problem.
