I conquered a planet last night after failing to take it the night before. I redid some of the structures on it, fluxed it, and then went and bought an assimilation locus which I then installed on the planet. Then I used planetary time vortexes to build up the infrastructure. One odd thing I did notice at the time was it said it had not been attacked for a day and this was before I used the time vortexes. This morning I realized the bonus on the assimilation locus had not doubled. Has anyone seen this behavior before and how should I proceed? Is it possible to get this fixed?

I have see the Assimilation bonus show up and then disappear after I used a planetary time vortex. Contact Dan this way, explain the situation including the planet name and he will fix it. He is great!

I think the key aspect is "The bonus doubles if used on a 'New Colony' that you recently invaded."


Recently doesnt mean over 24hrs ago, more like less than an hour. I know my sab ability wont work if more than 15 minutes have lapsed and that says recently attacked and under 100 pop.

That was part of the bug, only a few minutes after i successfully captured it it was saying it had not been attacked for a day.

You had to use the time vortex before putting it on the planet. if you going to use one put it right after the invasion.

Did it have an engineered virus on it and this was the second attempt at invasion? if so then that would account for the 24hrs thing.

The same thing happened here, I conquered a planet added a assimilation locus.. I then noticed the planet showed it hadnt been attacked for 24hrs and I wasnt getting the bonus.. I made a in-game report to Dan and it was fixed with min.. Once again thank you Dan
