ok, so unlike 90% of people here i play the waiting game when it comes to pvp. however, ever since the update the page is refreshing every 30 minutes or so... if not sooner! twice now the page has refreshed after me hitting a target one time... which would be ok if the target stayed on the battle tab until they died, but since they are removed after one hit this is rather frustrating. so i would like to ask the automatic page refreshing be removed, or if this is a problem with just me, then please suggest a solution to remedy this problem. its rather unfortunate pvp has become a null fuse only game.

Its not just you Vekno. While it hasn't happened to me in a BT situation, its still pretty annoying. Happens to me everytime i change tabs right after i get my hourly resources.

this was my purpose for a 30min or so lock on target button. that way u could have one person locked at a time, but it would only stay active for no more than 1 hr. And it would have say a 2-4 hr cool down so that u could not keep locking same player.

It happens to me whenever ANY timer expires and I have the relevant window open. For example, I was waiting to hack someone yesterday and had them up on the battle tab. My hack timer ran out, I went to click hack, and suddenly the game refreshed. The player was still on the battle tab after the refresh so I was able to hack them, but it was annoying that it happened.

Am I the only one who USED to have this but since the update I haven't had it. It's been kinda useful. Only annoying thing is my repair button has a habit of going to: repair in: ??:??.

my repair button never works if i dont refresh the page. it always stops at 00:00 or ??:?? and the refresh problem NEEDS to be dealt with. obviously its not just me, so its something on the GL end. i find that limiting pvpers to having to use a null fuse when they hit a trap is unfair, and it makes pvp a game for only those with a credit card, or enough ap to match a credit card. i hate null fuses, and prefer to wait 60-90 minutes to finish off a player. although, now with this problem im glad theyre in the game. please address this issue so that the patient man can go back to his old methods of killing.

You could try using Google Chrome. Nothing else will work, but I never get the auto-refresh using Chrome.

i've noticed it happening often recently, but I'm leaning toward the issue being facebook's sidebar of ads

really? well, hopefully facebook will take care of it soon... ive had this problem before, but it went away after a few weeks. i dismissed it as a glitch. good to kno its not gl's fault.

Im definatly sure its the GL page that force refresh the whole page on the hour to stop people keeping others in a seperate tab open for weeks on end.
Now it means you got up to the "big hand on the twelve" time to do what you need to do.

yeah, but now i HAVE to use null fuses to kill players instead of waiting for trap effects to wear off. its very inconvinient, and if by design, unfair as it favors those with higher ap production.

Oh so there IS a pattern to it ? Always seemed random to me. It stopped happening on repair timer = 0, but sometimes still happens on send timer = 0 I think, if you are on the relevant page. Maybe it's on the hour if you are on a page with a timer..

it always refreshes when a trap wears off or when the action timer resets. so pretty much you cant pvp for extended periods anymore. i see why dan might have done this to prevent the farming of people for days, but every 15 minutes??? c'mon. make it 48 hour refreshes. that way itll do the intended purpose, and only screw over us waiting men once every two days, instead of once every quarter hour.
