Every time I enter the game since the patch I get to the News Page - but trying to click on any other tabs/pages or alerts just reloads the same News Page.

I have tried clearing out my cookies, but I am still stuck and unable to do anything that see that one page/tab.

I am running Firefox 4.0.1 and never had any problems before the patch.

Any ideas or help please?

It seems to be a chain refresh problem - the page seems to be force refreshing every few seconds and/or when any tab is clicked - and the refresh relaods the main/news page.

It may be a Firefox issue, as it works okay (just ultra slowly with lots of lag) if I use Internet Explorer 8 instead of Firefox.

I am having the same issue but its not just on firefox it is also happening on opera, internet explorer and safari. WTF is going on

same here internet explorer 9 just refreshes back to news page

Holy hell, this is gonna be nightmare for dan..

There have been a few times in the last 10 mins where i was able to get into the trade page as well as research and think oh yes it is fixed only to click another button and end back at the intro/news page

same for me. lol, missin out on some good elites.

anyway, dosnt work in ie8 or google chrome for me. cleared the cache a couple times on each.

Firefox 4.0.1 here, with the same refresh issue.

In fact, if ye refresh manually, ye get a double refresh!

Update: now it's refreshin' every few minutes without me help.

I am having the same refresh problem, I could have gained a level by now.

Auto refresh stuck cant play game losing daily reward, losing possible game play time , not fun. have the whole day off . Guess Ill start looking for a new game

I have the same issue with Internet explorer everything except the forum link and the 'here' link only refreshes the screen and gives me access only to the "news" screen. I have refreshed, cleared caches and restarted my PC still the same issue. What gives?

i am in both ie and chrome.

It was working last night. Whatever happened must have been within 24 hrs.

it was having the refresh problem on my desktop, but my laptop worked properly.

Since my desktop is new I just decided to clear it all out.

on my desktop I used IE and mozilla both were reloading. I noticed it reloaded everytime my energy was supposed to add 1. or if I change tabs from news to any other stuff including clicking on an alert in the ship log.

I've done everything from resetting browsers, restarting the comp, deleting browsing history. searching for viruses. Nadda I can't get GL to load and stay loaded. ANY button I click immidiately reloads the page and if i leave it alone it reloads the page ever 14 seconds. Any idea whats goin on?

Game keeps reloading each tab. I have cleared cookies and no luck. Bummer way to spend a day off.

I've even reinstalled IE and chrome. Nadda its gotta be on the GL end of things.

We've added a small patch that should help. The issue is that, for some, the game "forgets" that you are logged in.

sweet! thnx dan. it works now. it has a bit more lag than normal, but im sure itll go away when i clear the cache or something.
