Just happened to me today.
Attiroth launched a repair ship, and since I got my remod ready, I use it.
Then I immediately get back to alert, hit the Attiroth, and it repaired itself.

If I was the first or second to lock it, it will be no big issue, but I'm the 5th and it is really annoying to do the 100% damage to it to disable.
