So yesterday I did a scan run, and found an enemy owned Dyson. (Mining/research btw)
This is important as you remember stealing those.

It was about 3pm my time.

The next day in the morning a very kind traveling trader offered me a planet to steal. I accepted, then immediately remembered that i had stolen a planet yesterday.

However, I then realized that I actually COULD invade. I had not used an annex, and it had been slightly over 17 hours since my invasion.
Yet, invade i could, and invade i did.

We confirmed this via my alert, as i had alerted the dyson for the legion to see the moment i had invaded.

I do not know if this is a bug, a new timer, a function of it being owned by an inactive, but either way... it was strange.

If its a bug I think the planet should be given back to its previous owner...

If he could've just used an Annexx then I don't see this being a problem.

I don't think there are any particular moral implications. Worst case, i would have stolen the planet in the afternoon and not the morning, or used an annex.

I did not deliberately create this bug, not attempted to replicate, make a secret of, or any other nefarious purposes.

I instead immediately posted what happened and gave as much details as i thought useful.

Anything else is up to Dan, and this forum topic exists to alert him of that, and let others who have had similar problems or thoughts comment.

When did this happen?

While I have not had any issues with invade cooldown timers, I noticed a planet I uplifted to 20x arti went back to 19x arti overnight. Maybe an issue with server daily maintenance?

It happened less than 5 minutes before i made my initial post. Invaded, did the standard planet changes, then went straight to forums.
