Plain and simple, the planets tab is still unloadable after three years on mobile. The permanent solution eludes me, but there is a quite simple temporary fix.

Take my tab for example. I have approximately 600 planets total scanned, 100 occupied. If sheer volume is the issue, quite simply the temporary solution is to load the player owned planets tab as the default instead of the all planets scanned tab. The number to be loaded decreases substantially, and the number of players which can access the tab by mobile increases by a lot.

I would HIGHLY encourage a permanent fix to be figured out though. It's very frustrating.

Point is, it should work on all but the slowest platforms. iPhones are not bricks, and they're not Crackberries.

My phone is 4 years old and stil handles 800 plus just fine.
It takes a bit to load at first, but it does that on my computer a bit even.

So your solution is, if there's a platform that works, buy it. If no platform works, fix it? Doesn't seem very user friendly.

I simply think the amount of things to download is too great. If the page DOES load, none of the links work. Sometimes, it crashes the browser. Native mode is no different. Making the amount of information less is probably what's required. But if this won't get fixed, there needs to be a minimum hardware statement somewhere visible. If a two generations old iPhone is having trouble, there are a LOT of other platforms that won't work.

IPad 2 is very slow. I usually have to open the planets tab and wait a couple of minutes. If I wait, it works but anything done with that page (sorting) takes a long time also.

Runs perfect on my android phone though.

Rarek's right, something needs done. If it doesn't work on just a few platforms, then something needs done. Loading each page individually would be my solution.
