I'm rank 416; this was my interraction with a rank 740 who showed up on my BT. For the second one, I suggested he may have accidentally hit me and that he should change his password.

He's a much higher rank than me; over 1.75 times my rank. I'm not sure how the BT works with showing people above you in rank, though everybody else I've seen today has been below my rank.

The second box happened as I was typing this out; how does scanning work against cloak on the BT in regards to seeing enemy ships? His cloak is almost 5 times higher than my scan.

There is no upper rank limit... when i was rank 700 i was able to see the then rank 2k PhoenixRev or whatever his ign was at that time on my bt.


As for how scan vs cloak works on the bt... the higher your cloak, the more difficult you are to find, there is no way to actually hide, regardless of how high your cloak is... just means you won't show as often.

i frequently see guys at about rank 800 on my bt, i'm rank 401

did they have a firewall trap on them? or been clouded?

every now and again you see much higher ranked players. it happens


what really concerns me is that bahamut, spelled his IGN wrong.

i think somebody went on a crazy kill spree the other day. had the same thing happen to me. bunch of 1k plus players. (golgotha can back me up on this)

Happened to me when I burned up all 100 TM collecting badges from all ships in BT.... then all the big dogs would show in my BT (By then, I m out of TM & energy) :mrgreen:
