OK, I truly believe your randomizer needs checked. The other day I missed 5/9 scans when I had a 99% chance. continued scans and failed on 75% 4 times in a row. Now I have tried to take over a planet twice and after defeating the planet lost on taking it over when it says I have 90% on it. The timer artifact when used doesn't allow me to invade again as promised. I am becoming increasingly frustrated at this game which I have enjoyed prior to this as one of the best games on FB. Please fix this issue soon.

Do you mean the Time Manipulator or the Paradox Generator? The Time Manipulator doesn't remove the invasion timer. And yes, sometimes when you have a 90% chance you will fail, that means the randomizer is working, if you always succeeded when you had a 90% chance then it would be broken.
When you have a 75% chance, that doesn't mean that you will fail once and then succeed three times, it just means that out of a large sample (at least 30) you'll succeed 3 out of 4 times. The scanning is a little tricky, because when you find a planet it compares the cloak to your sensors, so some of those times you probably would've found a planet if it wasn't cloaked.

A 1 in 100 chance won't happen and a 1 in 1 million chance definitely will.

It's been odd: In the past days (I started noticing on Tuesday and should have keep better records) I start clicking on artifact draws; I need to twice daily or I would reach capacity. At least once each draw session I get the exact same artifact in a row! One or twice a week I understand. But it's been happening for days in a row. Maybe I need to slow down on my clicking and give the game a chance to randomize.

I just scanned about 100 times with 99% certainty, and only got 75 planets... law of averages says I should have gotten at least 95 planets for those 100 scans!
and looking at the planets I just scanned, it's not giving me as good planets anymore. Even worse the moderately good planet it IS giving me are occupied already!
Anybody else notice their own planets being picked up more often now? 'Cause I had three ATTACKED in the last week, which means a SIGNIFICANT increase in how many were actually detected!

To both of the posts above: read my How Scanning for a planet works thread.

Remember that Dan always wanted more fighting over planets. I wonder if the number of planets expand and shrink based upon the number of players. With the shrinkage (taking away planets) only occur among planets never scanned.

Because the player database is saved off of Facebook, technically the number of players never decreases, even if they remove Galaxy Legion from their games.

Yes but what happens when people delete their facebook account. Like one member of the dysonians did: Bubba Smith. I know you can delete your facebook account. Although it's probably an insignificant number of players that have done so. I know of only the one player above.

Even if the facebook account connected to the ship is removed, the ship itself would still be in the GL database. So no planets will ever be removed unless Dan removes them himself.
