I just tried to play Galaxy Legion on my Windows HTC HD7 phone now that this update has occurred. I have been playing this game on my phone for over a year now, with only the occasional problem.

With the new update. the game is unplayable now unless the comm window is closed. I have some kind of weird black veil over all of the buttons which is the Legion Comm window. I managed to zoom in really close and managed to close it, but now I can`t see the comm window. Now that I have managed to close it, I can`t even see it enough to open it. This is a major problem for me as I am one of the leaders of my legion and need to be able to communicate with my members

When I first loaded the game before I closed the comm, the only thing that was accessible is the oldest item on my news list. It was someone sending me artifacts, so I can hit the View My Cargo link. If I do that, I have just enough space sthat I can lock my Aidonium from being sold. I could also use the Other Messages button and Trade Log buttons in the ships log on the news page. Otherwise, every other button was covered by this black veil.

I`m not even sure if I can send you a picture of what I`m talking about as I can no longer open the comm window on my phone. If you could look into this, I sure would appreciate it. If anyone else is having similar problems, please put them up. Thanks.

You can take a screen caption on any smartphone. It's usually holding the power button and another button. It may be different buttons depending on your phone.

Hi, I did look into this. Screen capture is available on windows 8, not 7 which is what I have, naturally. I tried the procedure given for getting a screen capture on 8 but all does is turn off my phone really fast. I'll have to try something a little more low tech. Welcome to the wacky windows phone world. Lol.

It seems that the problem is that my comm window is now at the top of my screen. It is extending over my playable screen.

I have the same problem with my phone Borg, and I'm using Android. The problem is worst if you hold the screen sideways for a landscape view... portrait view ie holding handset upright just about works but is still a pain. Only started happening today.

If the comm is in the way, zoom out a bit. Works for me.

Problem is occurring for me when I use my HTC Desire mobile phone to access GL. It uses Android version 2.2 and the browser version is Webkit 3.1. Hope this is what you need and thanks for looking into this, it's much appreciated!

We've updated the mobile comm:

* Now is closed by default when opening the game
* Enlarged the toggle button to make it easier to click
* We positioned the toggle button on the side instead of the bottom, in order to not conflict with the devices' own buttons that are near the bottom.
* Restructured some of the comm window to help with issues players were having with not being able to click on certain areas of the game.

All working fine for my phone now, thanks for sorting!

Just reporting from another OS, the new comm layout works well on the android (ICS, 4.0 using the default browser). I like how all this is shaping up on my phone.

Since the updates I can no longer scroll through the research tiers
Android ICS using chrome

Just loaded the research tab up on chrome and the default android browser, and it's working well for me in both.

I don't know if anything changed or if I just needed to restart the browser, but it is now working

My phone seems to have gotten the update that you have done, but I still can't see the comm window on my phone, kind of.

When I first open the Galaxy Legion application in the mobile format, everything looks normal. If there is a new comm, I have a flashing blue "COMM" bubble on the upper right hand of my screen, at the end of the information tabs. However, when I pick it all I can see of the comm window is about 10 pixels from the top line of the comm window which appear at the very top of my phone screen. I also can no longer see the blue Facebook bar that I had across the top of my screen before the update. I'd say that the comm window is there, just placed at the top of the screen and behind the game information.

If there is anything else I can do to help isolate the problem, please mention it and I will get it as soon as possible.

Sorry to be a pain. I'm blaming the phone. I tried to call Bill Gates about my phone problem but all I ever get is his secretary, and all she ever says is "restraining order" before she hands up. Weird. lol

I am.still having the problem of not being able to see.the comm window on my phone. I have been making do with the comm archive, but it's extremely inefficient, and I just discovered that base attack alerts don't appear in either the member or officer windows of the comm archive. One of my members had to tell me we were under attack.

Is there any way that you could fix this issue? I didn't realize how important the comm window was until I didn't have it.

Have you tried installing an alternative mobile browser on the phone to see if that helps? We're having trouble reproducing the exact issue you are having.

I have a nokia lumia using the Internet Explorer app and I have the same problem with the game .. it looks like the comm window is extended over the entire play surface..

I don't know if it's because I'm using my phone more for access since my comp went down (borrow my sisters occasionally, like now, but can't use it that often) but since this little update, my phone seems to only like doing a couple of things on GL at a time before the browser crashes. I've used both the native android ice cream sandwich and Firefox browsers for my sony ericsson arc s, but they both close after a short period... eg I open, click trade, collect mineral shipments, scroll down to the sell button and it crashes and closes on me... I open it again, click trade, collect artifact shipment, click on the artifacts tab and it crashes and closes again... You can imagine how long it would take to do just a few basic things...
I don't seem to have this problem with any other site though, if there's a site I can go to and do a comparison test, I'd love to hear about it. I've tried clearing the history, cache etc on my phone too, but that doesn't work either.
It's just frustrating when I'm out and about and I want to check in/clear some production, having to load the same pages repeatedly. I spent a full 5 minutes last week trying to get to my rescued prisoners before giving up and asking my sis if I could just use her comp.
