 Killed a Vortul, and got reward, but no message. Any ideas what could have happened?

If you don't alert to your legion, there is no reward box in your news feed.

Nah, I alerted- waited an hour or so, made it a one hit each, waited some more- still no response, I got bored, needed that xp to level, had 10 energy, and killed it. I'd have killed the Okkilor - Vortuls are nicer.
