Can anyone confirm that I (Golgotha) was guarding exotica over the last 5 hours? I was not disabled today, I am not guarding another world, I was attacked immediatly upon taking exotica (unsucesfully) showing i guarded it.. I also received comm messages after doing so, meaning i was targetable. Yet i just lost Exotica having never gotten a chance to defend it. Confused, bewildered, and more than slightly angry - thanks to anyone that can help. |

There are new rules in place which cause you to not be able to guard exotica due to complaints of unfairness. Are you sure none of those tripwires were set off that caused you to not guard it? |

Appreciate the attempt at humour Rarek, but i have to admit right now i am actually furious, and quite serious in my inquiry. The amount of resources i put into defending Exotica then, including my last tevrazon tank, changing race, and 50billion or so credits in redesigning my ship (Not to mention the difficulty of getting the planet in the first place) and all seemingly lost magically. |

I don't know if this relates Golga, but I've noticed when guarding normal planets I get bumped off after a period of inactivity without being warped or disabled. I really don't know what triggers that though. |

I wasnt being inactive at all - I even helped take down a base half an hour or so before losing the planet. But if its a problem you have seen before, then perhaps i can atleast wrap my head around the issue. The only thing i can think of that i did out of the usual was abandon a random mining planet of mine. |

webguydan wrote: * You may not guard Exotica if you were disabled by a player in the last hour. Actually Golgotha I was being serious. Sometimes it's easy to forget that an hour ago you got disabled, especially if lots of tense things are happening. Just putting the concern out there that perhaps something simple was overlooked, and it may not be a bug at all. If it truly wasn't the case, then I apologize, there should be something looked into here. |

you weren't on it when I looked at it after holding for 4.5 hrs, so whatever happened it was before then |

Did you do a THOROUGH review of your ship log? I would have to assume that a ship like yours would be getting spammed to hell and back and dogpiled, causing you to mash the use repair nano button. We know that doesn't always work (issue for another thread) and maybe that happened and you got disabled and repaired without seeing it among the other red boxes. I don't know, just throwing theories out there for you. |

Did you pvp? Maybe accidentally disable yourself on someone's geminis? |

if your removed from guarding a planet without being killed or warped by someone else, then you almost certainly disabled yourself on someone's gemini's or a base trap |

The 'better safe than sorry' method. |

I had exactly one debuff thrown at me immedietly after getting the planet. Just checked my ship log again, with fresh eyes, and its practically empty - essentially just npc shares from the legion during that time period. Do base traps show up on logs? Because if so, that was not it (THough it would seem the most likely) It was not gemenis, as i did not PVP in that time. Thanks for the help brainstorming so far guys, and sorry for being a bit short last night. I was... a little frustrated. |

Did a legionmate alert a planet being under attack/recently stolen and you guard that without thinking? |

Just got a reply from Dan about it, and he confirms that i was not disabled at any point. He said that it is possibly something to do with the initial guard timing out, though he is checking for other causes. I have to admit, im not sure what that means but at least I am not going insane. |

Well, we just got exotica again. Hall here abandoned a planet, and was no longer guarding exotica after. Think we may have found the cause... |
