also, where does the reward go? right away built on your ship, or is it placed in your artifacts inventory? I hope it's the latter, because I have 477 / 477 deck space so it won't be able to be installed...

Points are added to the total at the bottom of the display and the artifact will be added to your cargo

It's a planet arti size 1 adds 30% bonus to cloak goes in cargo as usual mine took about 12 hours to appear so bear with it

It can be up to this long yes. I suggest you just keep checking your cargo periodically when you are on, eventually it will show up. Mine showed up this morning when I started playing, if you want an easy way to see if you have it or not, go to your Artifacts tab, and under the "Filter Artifacts by Name:" section type in "rest" and it should be the top artifact in the filtered section that comes up under that search.

Medals which are TIME-BASED (which is to say, Medals which count a "Number of Days" since you took an action), and which are PASSIVE (which is to say, you do not actively click a button or activate some ability, etc.), Are calculated as a number of Days since your Upkeep, so that the reward is always given to you on the following daily upkeep.

Since the game has the mini-upkeep where the remainders owed to you of your income rates are given to you at 12 hours prior to your normal upkeep, you should only need to wait 12 hours before this award is handed to you.
