Put one on just for the hell of it then needed to try invading a planet since legion mate failed - I tried everything I could get my hands on and nothing removed it. That does include attempted arti use, NPC, attempted BT hit, planet attack attempt. None of which removed the calming amp.

The Halc and the Calming amp can't be used unless you've haven't performed any offensive actions in the past 24 hours.

If you perform an offensive action with the Halc set, it will remove the halc trap from you ship.

You cannot perform an offensive action once you set the Calming Amp.

Did you try hacking someone? I think that's the only way, though that might not work either.

But the calming amp's description has the same BUT factor as the halc. Perform an offensive action and it removes it.. But it won't let you perform an offensive action.
I haven't tried hacking or raiding yet - went through BT and had no options to (were no legion alerts to feed off of at the time either) - I've got poor cloak.. At least my scan's up here.

Hacking removes it, never tried raiding, but probably the same thing.

So in reality without more cloak or luck in bt I'm screwed lol
