wtf is that crap? I definitely have not played "30 games".. and even better question, WHY IS GALAXY LEGION CLAIMING I PLAYED THEM?!? It's spamming the crap out of my facebook and really pissing me off. Do I need to report this to facebook?

it stops after awhile...
i had it up in the 30s after i added timeline to my FB
it stopped doing it eventually and hasn't done it since

Mine was up to 80 something. I sent a feedback to FB and within about an hour it stopped. what ticked me off the most about it: I don't even have the timeline. Although from what I hear, its going to be forced sometime this month...

the question is, WHY is it doing that? Galaxy Legion shouldnt even know what games I'm playing. (for the record I only play GL on FB).. so what 80+ games is it claiming I play? When I look at my timeline I dont see the posts I'm getting notifications about. It's just polluting my notification queue and annoying me

I suspect that they are all just records of when you played GL. If you let it, FB likes to drop a notice in a "games and apps" specific feed each time you use an app. It then runs that feed next to apps that your friends are using. (so and so just played GL, someone else just played cards, etc...). So FB is probably digging through your history of GL plays and adding records for each time to its feed.

If Facebook forces timeline then the only time I'll ever use Facebook is when I'm playing GL. I really dislike it.

hmm ok thanks for the reply Dan - I was wondering about it, it seemed odd that GL would be posting about games I played other than GL itself. I've reported the notices to FB, hopefully they'll fix their crap. It's been posting one new "update" every 10 minutes.
The weird thing is that it looks alot alike they are coming from GL rather than FB.

Yea I agree it's FB but what bothers me is I am not even ON the timeline view yet (it's crap btw), and it kept alerting me every 10 minutes of playing that it was adding GL to my timeline. THAT started to piss me off. FB - you are an idiot leave the spam in the trash. End of Line.

 It's happening to me as well, and I *DO NOT* have Timeline enabled or set-up *AT ALL*.
Being a person with limited vision, the Timeline thing is very user UN-friendly. FB keeps breaking things that work just fine, leaves broken things without any fixes, and adding broken things that should never be added.
Oh, also let's not forget all the hacker crap going around. Getting FB chat messages from people who either never send you FB chat messages in the past, or from people you haven't heard from in months- go "Hey, check this super OMG-WTF l337 uber awesome website! Go check it out!" then that website steals your FB account info so hackers can spam more people doing this from YOUR account.
The hacker stuff has been going on for more than a year now, and what has FB done to fix it? Nothing. Zilch. Nada. Zip. Absolutely Zero.
Dan, I strongly suggest you move GL to an offsite server, where it can't be hacked or scammed, plus people can refer new players to it without FB spam, worsening security, no customer service, and degenerating user interface.

I think I've figured out the root of this problem.
I notice that every time GL auto-refreshes, FB adds +1 to the number of the "Games played by GL" in the notifications and timeline thing even though I have no timeline set up as mentioned earlier.

I noticed the same thing, I guess that's not compatible with the refresh cycle.

ok serriously anyone have an adblock rule or something for thhis ?? it is showing at times mmore than one at the same time its really pissing me off .. i have all fb notify settings off
