If I buy galaxy points does the money go to you Dan?

I am wondering how that works. Do you get part of it? Do you get part of the advertising revenue from the ads on the side?

Yes, there are considerable costs to running a large scale game like this, and its nice to recoup that. And hopefully over time its growth will allow me to invest in things that expand it to be even better (getting even more people involved, etc)

As you can tell, they are not required to play - but they are there for convenience if you need a boost.

BTW, the ads on the side are Facebook's, they are not mine. I like to run my apps ad-free as you've noticed.

I wanted to make sure of that before I purchased anything. I don't mind supporting good development but I wanted to make sure it was you and not facebook who was getting the $.

I don't mind paying for an enjoyable game either. Was just curious if you thought of putting in timed consumables. Examples below.

48 hour - 1 week buffs that could:
Speeds up energy regen by 20 seconds
Increase money from missions by 30%
Cloaks all planets and ships but increases (as in takes way longer to get energy) energy regen by 75% (Vacation Mode and can be turned off, but you lose the buff)

I also was wondering if there was a reason you didn't offer credits as part of the things that could be bought with galaxy points.

AS rare as it is they have been known to be daily rewards.

Sometimes the Daily Reward gives you GP, 5 if I remember correctly.

unfortunately not. they're have been suggestions about being rewarded with 1 galaxy point per level up.

you start with 10 GP at the start of the game, but most of us wasted it on the galaxy wheel :shock: :roll: :evil: :D

LOL, the man just said he had to make some money back. Of all the games I have played, Dan's GLs are the cheapest. You can't buy a smile in Castle Age for 3 bucks, here it gets you 2 ranks, or some half way decent artifacts (like a null or better still, some more storage so you don't lose your research production... unless you want to log in every 6 hours)

Yeah, I just got that a few days ago for the first time; I've been playing over a year now, I believe.

i would have gladly exchanged the gp ive won in the daily reward for a few natural dysons...
