What is with the introduction of the "show top damagers" button on the combat log? why is it been added?

before with the list updating after each hit, it was clear where your ship stood in the rankings for damage. made it easy to help minimize other players jumping others in getting badges (3 vs 2 vs 1, etc).

now I have to keep hitting that badge to see how much damage I've done.

I'm usually on that tab more often than not when damaging a base so this new button is annoying. especially after as soon as you attack again, the list is cleared and the button is back...

It's to reduce lag by decreasing how often it needs to update each attacker.

I was guessing it was to reduce load on the server but still frustrating...

yes that is very frustrating, just did a lvl5 and switching back and forth was very annoying

well just keep shooting instead of checking i just keep a eye on the base health
