Have already reported this to Dan, but has anyone else had a problem with last upkeep taken from their vessel.

I had 2.7B credits and my upkeep is 2.5B. got told I had insufficient credits and my vessel got damaged.

very annoying...

Yes a few days ago infact. I had 5.7 Bil and upkeep is 4B. I awoke to the message of shipwide damage, contacted Dan, and he repaired all my modules by one condition.

I was about to ask the same thing. I thought it was partial to one race.

I was wondering if perhaps Builder was only taking half upkeep but still checking for full upkeep, but that must not be it. Perhaps there's a problem with a specific module not reporting the correct upkeep.

hmm.. i know if upkeep shows as 2.5 you should make sure to have 2.55 to cover any rounding...
but if it's stealing a bit more without telling us, that is a nice issue...

Do you have dark assemblybots on your ship ?? (3x -5% upkeep)

yes I'm builder profession

no dark assembly bots on my ship

I would have hoped 2.7B would have covered any rounding issues. had 200M buffer but guess not...

this is costing me over 8B in credits to repair systems as nothing got reversed... :-(

i had the same issue, believe it was the same day actually, else within a day of it.

Also had about roughly 300 million more than what was required (7.1 or so, 6.8 bill upkeep).

Dan was (for Dan mind you) running slow in that it took about 17 hours to get back to me, but did some (as he put it) selective repairs to reflect the confusion.

I had done some myself(couldnt stop playing while waiting) but i had 2 busted quasis for it that got fixed.

Thanks Dan!

Gave up on waiting for Dan to do anything. paid out over 8B in repairs that I shouldn't have needed to do yet. :(

Lesson learned:

so even if you think you have just enough to cover your upkeep, make sure to have a decent size buffer to make sure this doesn't happen again. 200M is not a sufficient buffer to protect yourself.

i just have one more question here... did you make sure before upkeep timer hit 0 that you had enough credits? or, did you check your upkeep vs credits AFTER it said you didn't have enough? because if any modules became totally broken as a result of upkeep penalty, it would lower your upkeep.... that would result in seeing an upkeep lower than your current credits

Neither is 500M, I don't think. I can't blame it on a "false report" of insufficient funds though as I, like a goof, was distracted by the Giants game today and didn't deposit all the minerals I had. Still, I thought I had hit the upkeep cap.

Anyway, make sure you're always over your "rent" by 1Mcreds. That's a good personal rule to have.
