/* EDIT> I believe I've figured out the problem a lot of the messages have been categorized wrong for instance: * An enemy player fluxing a planet from your list is listed as Type "Battle", while a player attacking your planet is Listed properly as Type "Planet". * The NPC Loot drop is listed as Type "Battle", the NPC Share is listed appropriately as Type "NPC" * The Items we send To other players do not appear to be available on any of the logs so they may be completely miss-categorized or entirely missing. </EDIT */ I've submitted a bug report/app usage issue to Dan for this, but wanted to post here as well: The "Battle Log" seems intended to give you important info about PC actions (Battles), and should really only house the log info such as: Hacking, Raiding Disabling, set off, disables, as well as rewards from actions against players, and bases. The "NPC Log" seems Intended only to give you the same type of info, except as it relates to NPCS: NPC Elite/Boss Shares, NPC Elite/Boss Rewards notices, (it would also be nice to add an "NPC expired" notice for Any Elites/bosses you share they do not get killed in time.), as well as NPC de buffs. However, the NPC Log currently ONLY shows shares of NPCs, which, is almost useless as most people will check their battle tab to see just the active ones anyway. What's more the Battle log does show all the PvP actions against you, from players and bases, and by you to Players (not sure on Bases), as well as the rewards from attacking Players and Bases, which is great. However the Battle Log ALSO shows all the NPC Shares, and the rewards gained from killing NPC Elites and Bosses, which clutters it up and make it impossible to easily see the player/base actions you are looking for. So we have a basically useless NPC log, missing info that should be displayed in it, we have all that info displayed int he battle log making it hard to use the "battle log" to find Player actions, and we also have the "Important Alerts" Log which includes ALL the info that is currently in the battle log as well, plus the logs from the "planet log"... I believe that this is a bug because the intention is clearly to be able to filter DOWN from the "All" messages into specific types of Categories, and that is not properly happening. Also there is an issue with the trade tab as well. In addition the Trade Log ONLY shows logs of items/minerals which are sent TO you, the code which should grab the "You sent 1000 widgets to Player X" when you send appears not to be working. Obviously the trade window should have info about what you receive and what you send, so you can verify you sent the right amount, or the right item, to the right user, and since that info is displayed in a pop-up notification to the player in both instances, I'm guessing there was a small over-sight that excluded this when it was implemented, probably a piece of commented code or minor syntax error that was missed during the QA of the current GL Build.. -Q |

I don't think there ever was a message for when you send something to someone else, though it would be nice. |
