Just in the past 2 days, there were 48 occurrences for Loans, and last I checked, we don't take out loans of galaxy credits. man i hate having to work so early in the morning.... emptied the pages that didn't belong (an admin still needs to delete the pages themselves) and.... Dan... i'd hate to say it but we probably need some anti-spam security on the wiki... at the very least (if possible) make it so any wiki account less than a week old can't create new pages |

Someone probably hacked the site and put it there just to be funny. Who puts up pages about something so off-topic (compared to galaxy legion) on the galaxy legion wiki? |

there's no hacking..... they're just creating a new account and creating one new page with that account... then creating another new account and creating one new page with that account.... |

That would be a tedious task banning all those accounts. And I'm pretty sure that the person would continue making new accounts and continue spamming. |

Being a veteran of Wikipedia, having edited there since 2005, I suppose I could construct a "Delete" template in order to flag it for administrators, but someone has got to monitor a category page that lists all articles with said flag. playret0195x wrote: That would be a tedious task banning all those accounts. We could also mark certain pages as protected if their info is likely not going to change for a while. |

banning IP is very old fashioned way to do stuff and very irrelevant.... everybody know IP can be fakes ones and can be changed, static IP doesn't exist anymore in most countries..... |

I'm looking into this, I have had to protect certain pages before, and I've kicked the spammers I've found but hadn't run across any spammers recently, thanks for the heads up gents. -Q |

just make it harder to make accounts.... us dedicated gamers wont mind xD not sure what there currently is (my accounts are getting old) but i dont think i did any email verification |
