This happens on anything that scrolls within the game I believe but for example...

On the missions page, there is no way to scroll up and down that I can find using an Android tablet up and down through the missions.

and of course, the one I really want to be doing is the BOTTOM one... lol

Just zoom your screen enough (holding it landscape) to get a good tap on the down arrow at the bottom of the scroll bar. Yes, its slow and annoying, but it works. This goes for any screen/subscreen with a scroll bar.

Mafia Wars did a mobile app for Android. It was pretty basic.

I've managed to login to GL on a t-Mobile G1 which was the first Android phone if I remember right. It was rooted and had a more recent version of Android on (Cyanogen). The first page loaded up and I could click the Daily reward but anything more would crash the browser. The phone has a really low spec. I'm sure a modern one could do much better.

I couldn't play GL using the standard OS which acme with the G1.

Try different apps such as Dolphin Browser to see if you are comforter with playing the game than Android's browser. I can get some actions done, but not great in battles (npcs and pvp).

my biggest complaint when i play on my phone ( like i did for the last 3 days as i was outta town) is its so SLOOWWWWWW i was attacked by instigator ( tho strangely not killed) and while i was on it took 4 minutes to get to my artifacts section to use a trap :/ he could have killed and raided me to 0 rather than just hacking me to death lol ( ps thx for leaving me with 200 hull rofl)

Yup, I'm currently using Dolphin and agree that it seems to be the best.

However, there is just no way to scroll down in the in-page windows. I've tried expanding the screen and hitting the arrows at the bottom as suggested and that doesn't work.

I'll have to check other browsers.... I know the one that comes with it doesn't work.

same problem with ios

same problem with j2me enabled non smart phone, bolt browser with image quality low works really fast and well, but can't scroll. still great for resource collecting though
