When a Build Extractor is used on a structure is the structure kept as is or is it reverted to its original form? If, for instance, I extract a "Quantum Hydro-Meliorator III" from an Oceanic planet could I then build it as a level three on a Metallic planet or would it revert to level one? If I extract an "Assimilation Locus" with a doubled effect bonus and build it somewhere else would it still have the bonus? I ask about both because one has the bonus in its name while the other does not. |

It becomes the artifact from which it is constructed, and so does not carry the bonus. |

same goes for all artifacts that change stats due to certain conditions when it's placed on a planet... |

If the planet itself is changed (say you melt an icy planet into an oceanic) the bonus will carry over. It has to be the same planet and the artifact has to be in place before, during and after the transformation. |

aye... adaptive spires placed on a barren give +2 mining... then if you octafari hydroshift the barren into an ocean... the current spires still give +2 mining... if you place another spires artifact on the now ocean planet, it will give +2 artifact... so now you have an ocean with a +2 mining spire and a +2 artifact spire... if you mylarai extract the +2 mining spire and put it back, it will become a +2 artifact spire... hope that clears things up for everyone... |
