Post subject: | Potential Hacker players |
I have been playing this game for few month now and managed to obtain rank 268.. My issue is that a certain player by the name Polkmn at lvl 178 as a ship of heavy dreadghnaut managed to obtain stats such as 5.2k def and 5.6k attack enormus hull is this even possible since I looked at the players modules and they happend to have 8 light nullrays and 3 Microwarp Nacelle - Mark III.. I have purchased Radiant Surge Cannon but they dont give you that much attack at that lvl.. Is there any other ship modules that can be purchased thry the trade button or anywhere else that I can not see or this player managed to stack modules that dont require that much deck space... I encountered this once again with a player by the name Meblow when he was lvl 210.. Those anyone have an explanation... |

Could of either put most rank points into attack and defence, not decks, or used CC alot. |

there's a play-style called slow ranker.... if you rank up super-slowly and focus on mostly artifact planets (for prisoners, brackets, xcharge, andriod helmsmen, and shipbots), you can have a low ranked ship that's super powerful |

my legion mate alerted me to a potential hacker ( luthien ), so I tested him out. lvl 102 where I only did less than a hundred damage each attack, (which I can understand capping so I don't suspect that is a hack) but repealing my boarders twice? now that made me suspicious. has less than a 1k each of attack and defense. my legion mate is 122 had was apparently losing with stats that exceeded luthiens. |

Well, in a situation like that one this is what i did. I looked at the players modules and ship size and a rough decks size compared to his classification of the ship. Did a calculation of his modules and what they would provide in stats towards attack and def and compared ship size decks in case he used ranking points towards attack or def. ( you can calculate that roughly) Then I did send def and attack probes to determine the actuall attack and def stats of the ship keeping in mind if there was any arties present at thier ship. Then I attacked and calculated dmg done to me and him/her there is also formula to go by the cap lvls and also counted hits to determind size of thier hull. If the numbers are way off chances are that player is hacking the system send in a report with some of your calculation and they should investigate. This player Meblow that I mention in the post is only 6 lvls higher then me. Funny part is my artifact per hour is at 4.6k and I can bring in 70k per day in artifact production. I would be luck in one day to bring in 3 time manipulator artifacts to my storage. However this is the wierd part this player by the name Meblow soon as he disabled me he aslo zerod raided me 16 times and my other two freinds which are close to my lvl and they each got zerod raided 14 times with in the same minute and he also does this on daily basis. Where does he get all this time manipulators from. Its just wierd.. Funny things are happening out there in the Universe ![]() |

Luthien posted on my wall after I notified her about being alerted as a possible hacker. Normally I'd apologize for misjudging someone...except I did a weapon and defense scan on her and her stats were att:614 and def: 545. so still something is not adding up somewhere, even with a capping (which I"m not sure exists) on damage rates when attacking someone over a 100 levels lower. |

ya know... instead of coming to the forums to accuse people, you need to treat these situations the same way you would if you found a multi-accounter... you should be contacting Dan directly via the link at the bottom of the game page |

Ummm ya know... we not even talking about multi account users thats just minor stuff.. This is more serious then you can process. Lets aim for the big picture. Lets say you are a legit player and been ranking up and doing your thing the way the game is supposed to be played. Then there comes another guys and somehow he can hack/trade what ever as many time manipulators as he pleases. Who is to say he is not hacking the paradox mission.. Get it now... I bet that would tick you off just a bit and you would talk about it.. Welcome to the forums... |

being a more serious issue it is even more important that it is handled discreetly instead of blabbing about it on the forums plus, there's still a chance you're falsely accusing someone, which can lead to a flame war... Respect the forum |

Ok... Do you see anyone flaming posts? Do you see anyone disrespecting the forum i.e ( language, calling names or what ever) Or Do you see ppl chatting about POTENTIAL hackers in a FORUM. What is so discreet about this game. Its like anyother games on the net, ppl play it and come to the forums and share thier opinions. If you dont like the topic or what is writen please move on. (don't you think that the moderators of this FORUM would have done or said anyting about this thread, are you one of them?) and try not to direct me in the future on what or when can I write in this FORUM since YOU have the outmost respect for it. |

I'm saying something. The rules state, no direct attacks on other players. If you have an issue with a player, or think they are cheating (multi or hacking) contact the game Dev through the link within the game. What you are posting IS potential hackers. Nothing is true until the game Dev checks it on his end. Locking |
