Selling Thrusters does not ask you to confirm!

 'Nuff Said. Since I accidentally sold one of my thrusters I decided to upgrade them all, but I would not have done so this soon if it had not been for the accidental selling =/

use the in-game "contact developer" he'll put one back on your ship, you don't EVER wanna sell a mission or npc module, they pack more punch in a smaller space than anything you can research and buy.
